In spite of the criticisms of this film, I wanted to say that this is one of the movies event. Of course there are the traditional special effects but according to me, are very well integrated into the film. Live Episode 1!!!!!!!! It is a charade, a scam intellectual. The Motion Capture is beast and wicked. The animation lacks... animation. The backgrounds are pretty, sure. But lovely stops on that image. Very quickly you realize that nothing moves : the entire film is that of the leaves of trees, lianas and herbs, yet it is fixed. It becomes scary : as if the characters are evolving in a universe of science fiction where time would freeze. Monkeys are ugly, their hair does not move. Finally, this is not a French film : it is an indian film. The facilitators are Indians. Apart from the capture of the movements of the stars, which has to be made in France, probably in Paris, the whole animation was made in India. Bravo Gaumont!
